It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elise Ham DesPortes of Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Baruch DesPortes; her daughters, Sally DesPortes Rogers and Susan DesPortes Hooks; and her brothers, Clem Patterson Ham and Charles Edmund Ham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Faye DesPortes Reaves of Hartsville, SC and Ann DesPortes Simon (Reece) of Matthews, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Nova Rogers, Analise Jordan and Jackson Simon.
