He was predeceased by: his parent Ree McQueen Byrd. He is survived by: his father Phelix Carrigan "Tuffy" Byrd, Sr. of Myrtle Beach, SC.; his daughters, Eliza Wilson Byrd of Hartsville, SC and Flora McNair Byrd of Hartsville, SC; and his brother Phelix Carrigan Byrd, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC.
