It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Tibbs of Hardeeville, South Carolina, born in Oldsmar, Florida, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noa Lee Dickey and Susie Claire Bonnell Dickey; her husband Kenneth Laymon Tibbs; and her brother William H. Dickey. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Tibbs Walters (Terry) and Lisa Tibbs Blankenship (Jeff); her grandchildren, Jeremy Walters (Courtney), Jennifer Walters, Stephanie Malphrus Vincent (Paul), Caleb Malphrus, Charlie Blankenship and Luke Blankenship; her great grandchildren, Asher Vincent, Arden Vincent and Sawyer Malphrus; and her brother Dale R. Dickey (Lynn).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Maye River Baptist Church, designated "Missions" or "Operation Christmas Child Postage.". Donations may be mailed to 3507 Okatie Highway, Okatie, SC, 29909.
