He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Guy" Burns and Deloree Holtzclaw Burns; and his brother Jim Burns. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Burns; his sons, Brad Burns (Stephanie) and Dell Burns; his grandchildren, Ansley Burns, Caiden Burns, Halston Stroud, Blake Bensch and Cole Bensch; his siblings, Bob Burns (Donna) and Jean Rice; and his nephew Eric Burns. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
