Shirley May Wilson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley May Wilson of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley May Wilson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Lee Wilson, Sr.; her parents, Andrew James Rain, Jr. and Mary Nelson Rain; her siblings, Ruth Hunter, Andrew James Rain, III and Kenneth Edward Rain; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Rain and Vicky Rain.

She is survived by: her children, Melvin Lee Wilson, Jr. (Donna), James Wilson (Suzanne), Eugene Wilson and Ruth Wilson; her sister Audrey Perera; and her brother-in-law Robert Hunter. She is also survived by three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Howze Mortuary (6714 State Park Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Howze Mortuary Chapel (6714 State Park Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690).
