She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Lee Wilson, Sr.; her parents, Andrew James Rain, Jr. and Mary Nelson Rain; her siblings, Ruth Hunter, Andrew James Rain, III and Kenneth Edward Rain; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Rain and Vicky Rain.

She is survived by: her children, Melvin Lee Wilson, Jr. (Donna), James Wilson (Suzanne), Eugene Wilson and Ruth Wilson; her sister Audrey Perera; and her brother-in-law Robert Hunter. She is also survived by three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 950 West Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
