He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Carter and Mary Duncan Carter; his siblings, Deloris Hooper and Samuel Carter; his daughter-in-law Jamie Carter; and his father-in-law Alton Yeargin.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie "Lynn" Carter; his sons, Wade Carter and Michael McCullough Jr. (Noel Crawford); his grandchildren, Matthew Carter (Kennedy), Jaden McCullough, Courtney Benton (Tyler), Kailan Bradford (Deven), Emily McCullough, Olivia McCullough, Amberlyn McCullough and Abbigail McCullough; his great grandchildren, Genesis, Sofia, Hadley Benton, Reid Carter, Carter and Harper Bradford; his sister Hope McCollum; and his mother-in-law Jean Gillespie. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mike's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,https://www.stjude.org., an organization close to his heart.
