He is survived by: his children, Amanda Ray of Greenville, SC, Miranda Ray (Frederick Howell) of Greenville, SC, Sharanda Ray of Greenville, SC and Lawrence Lorenzo Wardlaw of Washington, DC; his siblings, Bobbie Williams of Greenville, SC, Sandra Smith of Greenville, SC, Jennifer Wright of Greenville, SC and Steve Ware (Liz) of Greenville, SC; and his close friend Roy "Blue" Whitner of Greenville, SC.
