She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Emerson; her parents, Maylon Gulley and Julia Powell Gulley; and her siblings, C. Travis Powell, Sr., Fred Gulley and Ruby P. Alexander.
She is survived by: her son Terry Emerson (Janet); her grandchildren, Justin Emerson (Dawana) and Lori Alexander (Brian); her great grandchildren, Kenley Emerson, Cole Emerson, Chandler Staton, Hadley Emerson and Eryn Crider; and her sister Mary P. Brown.
