We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2024, at the age of 97, Erline L. Griffin (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Woodruff, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Erline departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Erline. Though Erline may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Edward Griffin, Sr.; her parents, Henry Lanford and Carrie Rhodes Lanford; and her brothers, Marion Lanford and James Carroll Lanford.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Chappell (David), Eddie Griffin (Caroline), Charles Griffin (Patricia) and Barry Griffin (Sylvia). She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
