He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Abraham Broome and Mamie Catherine Dawkins Broome; and his brother Elliott Zeke Broome. He is survived by: his wife Jakie Broome; his children, Laura Broome of Great Falls, SC, Amanda Deal (Richard) of Winston Salam, NC and Michael Broome (Cici) of York, SC; his stepdaughters, Michelle Varnadore (Shane) of Camden, SC and Julie Baker of Great Falls, SC; and his brothers, Leonard Broome of Ft. Mill, SC and Thomas Broome of Great Falls, SC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
