He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Stevenson and Nancy Woods Stevenson; his wife Nancy Allison Stevenson; his sons, William Heath "Billy" Bailey and James Daniel "Danny" Bailey; and his siblings, Frank Stevenson and Dessie Amos.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Louis "Stevie" Stevenson, Jr. (Sybil Faye) of Georgia, Mike Bailey of Chester, Bobby Gene "Buck" Bailey of Great Falls and Henry Kenneth; and his sisters, Peggy Stevenson of Great Falls and Lucille Stevenson of Great Falls. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
