It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lathan Trent of Great Falls, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Julius Lathan and Virginia Beckham Williams; and her son Norman "Paul" Trent, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Norman P. Trent; her daughters, Tonya Vinson (Bryant) of Great Falls, SC and Christal Riddle (Jay) of Hillsboro, TN; her grandchildren, Madison Shaw (James "Hank") of Richburg, SC, Kaley Trent of Lugoff, SC, Jayson Riddle of Hillsboro, TN, Paul "Hunter" Trent of Edgemoor, SC and Caitlin Bowers of Edgemoor, SC; her sister Diane Porter of Great Falls, SC; and her daughter-in-law Jennifer Trent of Edgemoor, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
