With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Carol Godbee Doster of Great Falls, South Carolina, born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Edward Godbee and Lola Pearl McAbee Godbee; her husband H. W. "Doc" Doster; her daughters, Mary Taylor and Connie Caldwell; and her brother Lawrence Godbee.

She is survived by: her children, Tim Doster of Blackstock, Kirby Godbee of Richburg and Charlotte Taylor of Chester; and her siblings, Bobby Godbee of Spartanburg, Jerry Lee Godbee of Rock Hill, Thomas Godbee of Great Falls and Joyce Meadows of Gaffney. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
