We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2023, at the age of 78, Heyward Leon Evans of Great Falls, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bascom Evans and Beatrice Beckham Evans; and his siblings, Clyde, Charlie, Tommy Evans and Margaret Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Evans; his daughters, Robin White, Susan Smith, Mary Evans (Rusty) and Courtney Barron (Blake); and his grandchildren, Sydney, Avery, Allan, Karlee (Brady), Madison, Koby, Aliy and Carmella.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church 6924 Wateree Road, Great Falls, SC.
