He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Powers and Louise Powers; his son Jeffrey Powers; and his brother Louis Powers. He is survived by: his wife Marilynn C. Powers; his daughter Jennifer McAbee (Jamie) of Great Falls, SC; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Evans of Indian Land, SC; his sisters, Teresa Sowell (Billy) of Lancaster, SC and Cindy Ford (Wayne) of St. Matthews, SC; and his close friend Sammy Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
