She is survived by: her sons, Teddy Smith (Janice) of Great Falls, SC and George Smith (Dawn) of Charlotte, NC; her grandsons, Melvin "Beau" Smith, III of Great Falls, SC and William Smith of Great Falls, SC; her great grandchildren, Emily Smith, Elizabeth Smith and Melvin "Vin" Smith IV; and her sister Helen Roberts of Lancaster, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
