He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Edwards and Kathleen Sexton Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sims Edwards; his children, Tina Edwards of Wilmington, NC and Nicholas Payne of York, SC; his granddaughter Parker Edwards of Wilmington, NC; and his siblings, Patricia Santini of Virginia and Rex Edwards of Nevada. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
