He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby W. Mathis and Beulah Varnadore Mathis Wright. He is survived by: his half-brother Travis E. Wright of Great Falls; and his aunt Brenda V. Price of Columbia.

In lieu of flowers it is suggested that memorials be given in Bobby's memory to the Shriners Hospital 930 W. Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
