She was predeceased by: her parents, Caleb Justus and Inez Wilson Justus; her stepmother Lois Reid Justus; her daughter Lowanda "Wanda" Melton Collins; her son-in-law Jimmy Ray Leopard; her siblings, Hershel Justus, Rosco Justus, Harry Justus, Raynell Turner, Leaomia Burrell and Rosebud Justus; and her half-sisters, Eloise Justus, Patricia Justus and Judy Justus.

She is survived by: her children, John Eugene Melton (Justine) of Gray Court, Willis Lee Melton (Sallie) of Gray Court, Swanalee Inez Leopard of Hickory Tavern, Creola Elizbeth Leopard (Sammy) of Gray Court and Joyce Melton Holliday (Ken) of Gray Court; her siblings, Coleman Justus of Mountain Rest, Claybon Justus of West Union, Beulah Justus of Long Creek and Eva Keith of Seneca; and her half-siblings, Dennis Justus and Kathy Land Marsha Lee. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
