He is survived by: his sons, Quince Vernon Holmes (Maranda) and Jason Wollam (Deborah); his brothers, James Bradley Holmes (Linda) and Robert Ernest Holmes Jr. (Evelyn); his grandchildren, Parker Holmes, Jennifer Lyle and Michele McBride; his great grandchildren, Hailey Lyle and Leyton Watson; his friend Judy Boyd (Marine Corps); and his brothers, Bill Lazar and Gary "Red" Kruse.
