It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carldean Ashley (Graniteville, South Carolina), who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Carlton Eugene Ashley; his brother Darnell Ashley; and his granddaughter Lisa Bledsoe. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gale LeRoy Ashley; his mother Annie Lou Black Ashley; his children, Dean Ashley (Kimberly), Thad Ashley (Chay), Melissa Gove and Kim Bledsoe; his siblings, Marsha Webb (George), Arlean Ashley, G. W. Ashley (Kay) and Kieth Ashley; his sister-in-law Debra Ashley; his grandchildren, Austin Ashley (Lindsey), Charity Ashley, Patience Ashley, Chase Ashley, Nicholas Gove, Nathaniel Gove, Truett Ashley, Leyton Ashley, Breanna Markel, Chloe Reeves, Joseph Reeves and Trisha Bledsoe; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah Bledsoe, Waylon Ashley and Layne Ashley.
