He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Faye Thomas Sowers; his parents, Wayne Sowers and Hilda Waugh Sowers; his grandchildren, Brittany Horton (Matt), Matthew Fulmer, Kaleb Burton, McKayla Burton and Reagan Burton; his children, Kristi Fulmer (Chris) and Ashlyn Elledge (Patrick Olvey); and his cousin Anthony DeVivi (Tina).
