He was predeceased by: his father Elbert Roosevelt Wise. He is survived by: his mother Sally Diane Wise; his wife Carol Jean Wise; his daughters, Angela Kinard (Andrew), Lisa Rimer (Joseph), Rachel Wise and Rebecca Wise; his grandchildren, Ethan Rimer, Hailey Kinard, Bryan Rimer, Olivia Kinard, Mason Rimer, Aria Kinard and Kinsley Rimer; and his siblings, Bobby Wise (Betty), David Wise (Cindy) and Sally Kleber (Wolfgang).
