We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 85, Rosie Blanton of Gaffney, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earley Hughey and Violet Wisher Hughey Pennington; and her siblings, Lewis Hughey, Frank Hughey, Louise Parker, Brenda Jones and Maggie Patterson.
She is survived by: her husband Reverend William Henry Blanton; her children, Tony Blanton (Janice) of Gaffney, Gary Blanton of Gaffney and Cynthia Blackwell (Billy) of Gaffney; her sister Linda Hall of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Jason Blackwell (Leigh), Tina Morris (Tony), Will Blanton (McKenzie) and Lauren Blanton; and her great grandchildren, Ashlyn Morris, Rylee Morris, Hannah Blackwell, Logan Blackwell, Hampton Blanton and Eliza Blanton.
