He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel James Henson and Fannie Belle Greene Henson; his son Kevin Henson; and his siblings, Bill, Dick, Jerry, John Henson, Jean Robbins, Jo Henson and Nell Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Cole Henson; his sons, Kenny Henson (Sheila) of Cowpens and Keith Henson (Patty) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Tara Hill (Curtis), Ashley Howell (Caleb), Derek Henson, Brittany Henson, Christine Brown (Jayson) and Olivia Crawford (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Bethany, Zak, Tori, Logan, Jaiden, Pam, Maverick, Evee and Ledger; and his nephew Doyle Henson (Eileen).
