With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Carolyn Teague of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James David Teague; her parents, James Earl Simmons and Mary Randolph Simmons; her siblings, Katherine Walker, Jim Simmons and Wayne Simmons; and her brother-in-law Coye Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Simmons (Sheran) of Shelby, Frankie Martin of Gaffney, Amy Ellis (Mark) of Gaffney and Martha Ogle (Joey) of Macedonia; her siblings, Birt Simmons (Barbara) of Gaffney, Lounette West (Wayne) of Charlotte, Sylvia Benton (Winfred) of Gaffney, Ann Wisher of Blacksburg and Marilyn Bartee of Shelby; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Simmons of Anderson and Tracey Simmons of Blacksburg. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
