She was predeceased by: her spouse Jerry Triplett; her parents, Aud Hollars and Carrie Bentley Hollars; her son Russell Shook; and her siblings, Jean Earp, Aubin Hollars and Dennis C. Hollars.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Shook Swift of Boone; her sister Alma Earp (Sis) of Blowing Rock; her grandchildren, Reverend Bradley Swift (Amber), Deanna Franklin (Doug), Carrie Jan Shook, Daisy and Randy; and her close friends, Roger Wease of Gaffney and Angie Padgett of Gaffney.
