She is survived by: her husband Ernest "Unk" Painter; her niece Tanny H. Hambright of Blacksburg; her stepchildren, Tracie Renee Painter, Suzy Thompson of Gaffney and Ernest "Petey" Thompson of Spartanburg; her nephew Jay Clark Hill of Spartanburg; her sister-in-law Carol M. Humphries of Gaffney; her siblings, Pauline H. Peeler, Alice H. Hill and Herman "Bud" Humphries; her nephew James Brittain Humphries; and her brothers-in-law, C. Peeler and Harold Hill.
