She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bobby" Young; her parents, James Marshall Beason and Dorothy "Dot" Greene Beason; and also Eddie Childers. She is survived by: her sons, P. J. Childers (Jessi) of Gaffney and Tyler Childers (Kayla Gilfillan) of Gaffney; her brother Roger Beason (Trudy) of Shawnee, Kansas; her grandchildren, Julianna Childers Thomas (Randon), Jayna Childers, Jenna Childers and Sam Gilfillan; her nephews, Chad Beason (Amber) and Jamie Beason; and her niece Shannon Kitchens (Andy).
