He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Driskill Stuard; his stepparent Steedly Stuard; and his brother R. H. Driskill. He is survived by: his wife Linda Motts Driskill; his sons, Jackie Driskill of Gaffney and Jeff Driskill of Gaffney; his siblings, Jerry Stuard of Columbia, Ben Stuard of Spartanburg, Gail Stuard of Columbia and Anita Summit of Spartanburg; and his granddaughter Emma Driskill.
