She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Roland Martin and Dolly Ridings Martin; her husband Broadus Brown; her son Steve Patrick; and her brothers, Willard, Lionel and Raymond Martin.

She is survived by: her sons, Mike Patrick of Denver, CO and Barry Patrick (Janice) of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Cameron (Janna), Tyler and Jesse Patrick. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
