She was predeceased by: her parents, David Shafford Edge and Vera Mae Turner Edge; and her siblings, Danny Allen Edge and Kathy Anne Edge Richards. She is survived by: her husband Harold Cecil Johnson; her son Hugh Barron Johnson (Kay Shaw); her grandchildren, Robert Thomas Shaw (Shannon) and Amanda Shaw Hashem (Tom); her son Hamilton Bradley Johnson (Jennifer Ross Johnson); her grandson William David Johnson; her brother-in-law Warren Richards (Kim); and her nephew Zach Richards (Michele).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Fairview Baptist Church, or the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties.
