He was predeceased by: his wife Dot Copelan; and his grandson Justin Copelan. He is survived by: his children, Phil Copelan (Donna), Bob Copelan (Kim), Robin Tate (Barry), Greg Saxon (Angela), Tom Copelan (Ginger) and Rhonda Thorpe (Mitchell); and his brother Ray Copelan (Syble). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
