He was predeceased by: his father C. Lawrence Shields Jr.. He is survived by: his son Chad Shields (Sheila); his grandchildren, Colin, MaKenzie, Jessi Stephens (Adam) and Lauren Stephens; his great grandchild Annabelle Haney; his grandchildren, Cara Lee Chamberlain, Brenda Mazza, Brother Dan Shields (Diane) and Sister Janine Bell (Doug); and his pets, Jada and Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
