He was predeceased by: his wife Emily Faye Webb Knight; his father John Marcus "J. M." Knight, Sr.; and his siblings, John M. Knight, Jr. and Ruth Morton. He is survived by: his children, Keith Knight (Karen), Darren Knight (Susan), Wendy Williams, Cindy Bates (Chris) and Alison Pope (David); and his grandchildren, Ronnie Harris (Brittany), Ryan Knight, Dustin Webb, Brock Webb, Demi Webb, Evan Alfaro, Joseph Pope, Lorin Trescott (Wesley) and Kellen Bates.
