He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hayes and Bertie Bryant Church Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughters, Jennifer Ervin (Barron) of Florence and Jill Carter (Bryan) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Catherine, Ervin, Harlie, Dylan and Rylie Carter; and his brother Lanneau Hayes (Margaret) of Lake View.
