He is survived by: his wife Linda Darnell Buffkin Melton; his children, Rocky Joe Melton (Joelle), Stoney Dale Melton and Regina Lynn Calcutt (Duyane); his sister Betty Jean Strickland; his grandchildren, John Preston Melton, Hunter Melton (Hailey), Austin Trent Melton (Mykayla), Autumn Breanne Melton, Tyler Calcutt (Lindsey), Ashley Calcutt, Sierra Cusack (Nate), Kirsten Calcutt (Blain Priest) and Julia Calcutt; and his great grandchildren, Koa, Titus, Stetson, Tyson and Meridia.
