She is survived by: her parents, Ida Jo Cone of Eutawville and Robert E. Shingler, Sr. of Harleyville; her wife Katherine Heatley Watkins; her children, Alexander Brandon Velasco (Haley) of Kennesaw, GA and Angelina Ayla Velasco (Chris) of Seneca; her grandchildren, Kira Marie Velasco and Benjamin Velasco of Seneca; her stepchildren, Aaron Watkins (Candice) of Oklahoma City, Taylor Watkins of Atlanta and Hunter Watkins of Bruceton, TN; her brother Robert Eugene Shingler, II (Bromwyn) of McCormick; and her stepmother Wanda Shingler of Harleyville. She is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
