With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn Shafer Jamann-Riley (Eutawville, South Carolina), who passed away on June 4, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though JoAnn Shafer may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shafer and Enna Mae Shafer; her brother James D. Shafer; her husband Jack Riley; and her half-brother Robert Shafer.
She is survived by: her nieces, Susy Shafer and Cindy Shafer Law; and her siblings, Pamela Shafer and Richard Shafer.
