He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Edgar Burnett and Raymond E. Burnett. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Woods Burnett; his children, Tobin Raymond Burnett, Jr. (Kim), Rebecca Burnett Swartzmiller (Mark), Jessica Burnett, Jennifer Burnett, Amanda Hannon and Ashley Arnette Wilson (Phillip); and his sisters, Julia Mae Adams (Dwight), Gloria Reid (Tommy) and Becky Sharon. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
