He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Nelson Sr. and Inez Ross Nelson; and his sons, Lindsay Dharel Nelson and Lawrence Wayne Nelson. He is survived by: his brothers, Harold Donald Nelson (Josephine) of Stockbridge and Harvey Wilson Nelson Jr. (Mary Winn) of Florida; and his granddaughter Deirdre Hope Nelson-Storrs (Alex) of Elgin.
