He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Lee Freeze and Vernia Tucker Freeze; his sister Wilma Inez Bowlin; and his sister-in-law Marka Freeze. He is survived by: his wife Annie Mae Williamson Freeze; his children, Donald E. Freeze (Donna Lee), Donna Ann Freeze Maranto and James Gregory Freeze; his grandchildren, Donald E. Freeze II (Alecia), Donovon Seth Freeze (Crystal), Nicholas V. Maranto, Dante B. Maranto, Michael Evatt, Hannah Evatt, Cayden Freeze and Caleb Freeze; his great grandchildren, Peyton Freeze, Carson Freeze, Ryelon Freeze, Lance Gray (Angelynna), Avery Gray Santiago (Gadiel), Aslan Gray, Kolby Evatt and Kyrinity Maranto; and his siblings, Boyd Freeze (Rebecca), Phillip Freeze of Niles, David Freeze (Linda) of Hancock and Elaine Mishoe (Richard) of Wilmington, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
