It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daisy Pearl Coats of Dorchester, South Carolina, born in Harleyville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Brown and Albertha Brown (Inabinett); her siblings, Elisha, James, Leroy, Hazel (Maggie), Ophelia, Betty, Viola (Peggy), Joan and Carrie; and her niece Diane Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie S. Jackson of Dorchester, SC and Reverend John T. Coats II (Ramona) of Columbus, OH; her grandchildren, Tiffiany Jackson (Aaron), Angela Jackson (Michael), James Jackson III (Victoria) and Carrington Coats; her great grandchildren, Angelei, Angelina, Jeremiah, Imani and Zariah; her aunt Maddie Stokes-Brown; her godsons, Karenski and Ryan; and her nieces, Denise Jackson, Valerie Grent and Brenda Mack. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends.
