Taylor Madison Britt Obituary

Taylor Madison Britt, 16, of Darlington died Saturday, September 30, 2023.

Taylor was born in Florence. She was the daughter of Josh Britt and Erin Baxley Britt.

Taylor had a sweet, free spirit. She was outgoing, smart, talented, and forever more beautiful.

Taylor loved hard. She loved school and was an Honor Student in the Early College Program at Darlington High School. She loved to eat, especially macaroni and cheese. She loved to sing and was very good at it. She loved being around people and they loved her. She was a true friend to many people. It was said, "If she was your friend, she always had your back.". A simple paragraph cannot sum of the life of this wonderful child. Simply put, she was a great person in every way, shape, and form. Simply great.

Her family includes her mom and dad; her sister, Payton Britt; her maternal grandparents, Theresa Dennis, Archie E. Baxley, and Adrian D. Poston; her maternal great-grandmothers, Fannie Jo Poston and Elaine Webb; her paternal grandparents, Al and Janice Britt; her paternal great grandparents, Carl and Frances Britt; her aunt, Abbie Britt; her uncles Preston Poston and Brandon Poston; her great aunt Leigh Anne Kelley and husband Jody; her great uncles, Mike Britt and wife, Carol, and Robbie Britt.

A Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 1 PM at Central Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Taylor's family will soon establish a scholarship in her name. We will update this notice with directions on how you can contribute in the coming days.
