She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hazel Godbold and Nellie Blackmon Godbold; her husband Charles Dwane "C. D." Strickland; and her brothers, William Howard Godbold, Gene Godbold and Gerald Godbold.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Odom (Mia), Jennie Stanley, Julie Hamberis (Jerry), Shelley McLellan (Leslie) and Shannon Strickland (Vonda); her grandchildren, Tae Kim, Will Segars (Miranda), Bryce Stanley, Megan McKissick of Jackson McKissick, T. J, Hamberis, Brooke Lee (Robert), Justin McLellan (Kylie), Britney McLellan, Matthew McLellan (LeAnne), Courtney Robinson, Nikki Strickland, Brooke Robinson and Austin Strickland; her sister Edna Godbold Anderson; and her sister-in-law Imogene Godbold. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
