He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Jean Linder Cantrell; his parents, Willie Cantrell and Ruth Willis Cantrell; his son Aaron Dale Cantrell; and his siblings, James Cantrell, Bob Cantrell, Harold Cantrell, Max Cantrell, Kenneth Cantrell and Imogene Mitchum.
He is survived by: his children, Olin Gene Cantrell (Anita) of Cowpens, Robin Elizabeth Cantrell Henslee (Darrell) of Cowpens and Lisa Snow of Duncan; his daughter-in-law Kim Cantrell of Cowpens; his grandchildren, Mary Kate Sharpton (Justin), Abigail Cantrell, Allison Cantrell, Kallie Henslee and Thorne Henslee; and his great grandchild Aaron Thomas Sharpton.
