With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Martin of Cottageville, South Carolina, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Webster Martin and Dorothy Burford Martin; and his siblings, Jimmy Joe Martin, Leroy Martin, Paulette Martin McCoy and Janet Martin Huffman.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Martin; his son Phillip Arnold Martin (Rebecca) of Cottageville; and his brothers, Charles Martin and Kenneth Martin (Mauriena). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Martin will be sorely missed by his extended family and friends.Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
