He was predeceased by: his parent Bennie C. Ferguson; and his siblings, Goldie Colson, A. B. Ferguson and Reuben Ferguson. He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph Ferguson of Cottageville and Annabelle Arnold of Cottageville; and his nieces, Patsy Stokes and Charlotte Brinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
