She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Eugene and Janie Bell Lynah Pinckney; and her husband Horace Dicks, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Horace, III, Karen Dicks Robinson of Horace Dicks, III and Adreen Dicks Shider; her grandchildren, Navonda Fields (Sterling), Deonte Dicks, Javan Robinson (Necia), Bryan Robinson, Asia Dicks, Lauren Ashley Dicks and Chelsea Dicks; her great grandchildren, Marcus Fields, Sean Fields, Azariyon Green and De'Niyah Dicks; and her siblings, Jane Greene, Mary Chisolm, Edna Holmes, Delores Gillians, Barbre "Bobby" Pinckney and Arbrey Pinckney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
