With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley J. Brown in Conway, South Carolina, born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Marjorie Horn Lowery; her children, Keith Brown (Crystal) of Conway, Kelli Carroll of Galivants Ferry and Kim Nealey (Jeremy) of Loris; her grandchildren, Emma Graham, Olivia Hallead, Blake Carroll, Dylan Carroll and Dakota Nealey; her brothers, Billy Snow (Debbie) of Jacksonville and Donald Wallace (Priscilla) of Indian Trail; and also Jerri Bowers (Omer) of Heath Springs.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (5489 Cates Bay Hwy, Conway, SC 29527). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
